Ms. Nikola is a dynamic emergency preparedness and response consultant with a Master of
Public Health (MPH) who has more than 10 years of experience working in local public health
and healthcare. Ms. Nikola specializes in emergency planning and ensuring organizational
compliance with local, state, and federal preparedness guidelines. During her career, Ms. Nikola
has worked closely with Training and Exercise professionals using after-action criteria to
validate and revise emergency response plans. Ms. Nikola has completed the requirements for
the National Incident Management System (NIMS) All-Hazards Planning Section Chief (PSC)
curriculum and demonstrates strong project management skills following the principles of the
Incident Command System (ICS). Ms. Nikola has extensively studied mass dispensing of
emergency medical countermeasures and has led complex local public health initiatives such as
COVID-19 mass vaccination activities during initial, limited vaccine supply timeframes. Ms.
Nikola has proven supervisory experience and fulfilled Emergency Support Function (ESF)-8
duties during county-level Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activations. In her work, Ms.
Nikola is dedicated to strengthening community resiliency and protecting vulnerable
populations.
