Perses Consulting supported New Hanover County in the design, development, and delivery of a Family Assistance Center / Family Reunification Center tabletop exercise.
Working with County stakeholders, the Perese team developed a Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP)-guided discussion-based exercise focusing on the implementation and operation of a family assistance center.
The team reviewed existing plans, such as: Emergency Operations Plans, Joint Information Center Plans, Other County plans relevant to establishing and operating a Family Assistance Center/Family Reunification Center in response to an incident within New Hanover County.
The project included the development of a comprehensive exercise, including two separate scenarios to challenge participants.
The team also developed a set of exercise materials including:
