Perses Consulting is providing the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments with exercise design, coordination, conduct, and evaluation support for two four-hour active shooter tabletop exercises (TTX), one for the National Capital Region’s (NCR) Chief Administrative Officers (CAO) Committee and one for the NCR Emergency Preparedness Council (EPC). The TTXs will provide participants with the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the challenges and decisions they may face during an active shooter incident. The participants will use the information gathered during the exercise to validate and/or refine operational plans and strategic decisions. Exercise design, development and conduct will follow an HSEEP-guided process, with an After-Action Report/Improvement Plan capturing strength, areas for improvement and corrective actions.
